Merry Christmas to All!!
Our family has been busy getting ready for the holidays just as I am sure you and yours have been. I hope you all have a Joyous Christmas filled with the love of Family!
I have found time to get out to my crafttoom and scrapbook some of our vacation pictures. I am about 1/2 way done. Then I will start on Alaina's!  She is such a blessing:)
We will be hosting a New Year's Eve Party again, so after Christmas we will begin the planning for that. Then a New Year's Day ride with our biker friends crazy enough to brave the cold for the first ride of the New Year! Keep your fingers crossed for temps in the 50ยบ's!!

OMS...

Jim has a new teaser for me. OMS... "Old Mom Syndrome". He delights in catching me being forgetful, etc. and says, "OMS!".  It's getting rather tiresome. He even does it when he thinks I have done something wrong, like taken a turn the wrong way when he doesn't know where I have decided to go.  Granted, I am forgetful. I get lost easily, always have. I will turn the wrong way 9 times out of ten unless I have been there 100 times. Which is why I would never even know if he had taken a wrong turn because I am lost most of the time anyway. It's really quite unfair. Especially since he has brain damage. Really. I have the papers to prove it. The difference is that I don't tease him about his problems. His was caused from head trauma in a wreck in '04. I believe mine is caused from living with him for 20 years. It wouldn't be so bad, but I have done things for years that my girls refer to as "Sophia Moments". Oh well. I am pretty sure they will get more frequent as time goes by. At least he will never cease to be amused.

Long time!!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted last. BUSY, busy! But I guess that would be a good thing. My hubs and I made our annual trip to Sturgis for the bike rally, then on to Glacier National Park, back down through Yellowstone and Grand Teton Park. Glacier is AWESOME! I encourage anyone to make that trip if anyway possible. There is SO much of this country that is as beautiful as anything overseas! SEE our country!

Bikes, Babes & Bling

OK, I was aware that it was only the second year for the Bikes, Babes & Bling Rally in Fayetteville, AR. But DAMN. With the amazing success of Bikes, Blues & BBQ held in September in the same place, I certainly would have thought that the sponsors would have their s**t together better.
Four of us went down there with hopes of having a great time at the rally only to be sorely disappointed. Good thing that we can make our own fun! We salvaged the weekend by enjoying the ride and the time we spent together talking, watching movies and playing games. A shopping trip to Pig Trail Harley-Davidson helped too:)
Live and learn I guess, give a "rally" at least 5 years to get established before expecting to have a good time!
